Ingram Dam

Along the Guadalupe River is Ingram, TX - Ingram Lake and the Ingram Dam, directly across from the Dam Store. These places invariably draw out the child in you, along with the fisherman, and the photographer. I luckily got to film my "oldest child" (husband) taking the wild and slippery ride into the dark shimmering waters of the Guadalupe. We were fortunate enough to spend a little over a year living and visiting the small towns surrounding Kerrville, TX which is approximately 70 miles NNW of San Antonio. A sabbatical for us...away from work, or much of it anyway, and away from the big city. We speak longingly of returning - and maybe we will one day soon...

Creativity

Creativity comes to me in a series of fits and starts and bursts. In between I do routine stuff, relax, or do stuff supposedly creative in a routine fashion, honing the skills, I assume.

That's the problem I guess I have hit in the 9-5 jobs too; there's a "eureka!" and I do everything that should be done this week in a day, sacrificing quality for imaginativelity (yes, I'm aware I apparently just imagined that word, but I have put it in my dictionary.).

And then, I just can't get anything to work for a week. Perhaps God reverse-engineered a few of us when He created creativity in woman. I usually feel the urge to create on Sundays.

That must be the answer.
